Little Oneroa beach, just as you leave Oneroa. The rocks off to the right are good for clambering around on, and, as with lots of beaches in NZ, there's plenty of shells to look for.

One of the really neat things about the beaches in NZ is that you can see the patterns of the waves left behind in the sand -- it's like those magic sand 'sculptures' that were so popular a while ago.
