Playing around with white balance again -- as with the macro shots, the amazing thing is that
the camera can see things that I can't see. To the naked eye, most of these looked
very much like the un-adjusted shots, ie all orange -- but somehow the Coolpix managed to pull
colours out of the shot. Amazing. It only goes so far, though -- the last couple were taken
under just the sky glow reflected off the clouds, and there it's just not bright enough to
come out right, giving a weird sort of image intensifier effect. (the green one is the corrected
one here..)
